Light detection and ranging (LiDAR) can be used from an airborne or terrestrial platform to generate high-resolution maps by scanning an area with a powerful laser. Aerial Mapping Consultants utilize multiple LiDAR sensors for both high and low altitude scanning. We have the ability to scan large blocks and small corridors as required, to your specifications. With advanced features and up to 8 returns per pulse, we can deliver an accurate and dense data file.
Trimble Inpho Photogrammetry is the industry leading software for aerotriangulation in the photogrammetric field. High quality aerotriangulation of multiple images is key when completing large projects that have low-deviation tolerances. This software integrates seamlessly with DAT/EM Summit Evolution, which we use for stereo compilation.

AMC has the expertise and experience to provide high quality American Land Title Association mapping files. These horizontal (X,Y) planimetric maps can be delivered to your specifications.
Aerial Mapping Consultants can use either our small Unmanned Aerial Systems (sUAS) or an airplane to acquire imagery of your site. We bring this data into our softcopy collection software and create a DTM surface. From this surface we can calculate cut, fill, and stockpile volumes of your landfill or mine site.
DAT/EM Systems International - Summit Evolution is an industry-leading digital mapping and photogrammetric software. Summit Evolution combined with Nvidia 3D Vision 2 gives AMC crystal clear stereographic models for collecting vector data. Bentley - Microstation 3D CAD software is used to reliably deliver any size or scale project with confidence. We can export files to the AutoCAD DWG format while translating it to your AutoCAD library.
In most cases today we use digital images. However, occasionally a high-quality large format digital scanner is required to complete a project. At AMC, we use the Z/I Photoscan Film Scanner.
Our Orthophotos are a high-quality, low-cost product delivered with every mapping project. These high resolution images give you a birds eye view of your project area, and they come with a world file capable of geo referencing the image to your projects coordinates
Photogrammetry is ideally suited for GIS based mapping applications because of its ability to quickly and accurately collect immense amounts of detailed information. AMC’s mapping software, DAT/EM Summit Evolution combined with Microstation, has an infinite number of individual layers to identify and separate similar infrastructure features such as parcel boundaries and right-of-ways. AMC’s digital photogrammetric capabilities combined with Airborne GPS can significantly reduce ground survey costs for your mapping projects.
AMC utilizes the DJI Inspire 2 & Zenmuse X4S Sensor. The X4S sensor captures 20 MP still images and 4K video @ 60 FPS.
High-quality data acquisition is the first step to completing your mapping project. We have the ability and capacity to acquire data for any area in North America. Primarily, we use two types of sensors: the Leica RC30 (film) and Vexcel UltraCam-X (digital). High quality data acquisition gives us the ability to complete your project with a very high level of accuracy and thoroughness. These images also allow us to generate high-resolution Orthophotos for every project.
