Photogrammetry + Point Clouds

Aerial Mapping Consultants are on the cutting edge of technology. Our primary aircraft is an Inspire 2 with a Zenmuse X4s calibrated digital sensor. Our Inspire 2 is equipped with the Airgon Loki direct geopositioning system for drones. This is a third generation Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), Post-Process Kinematic (PPK) using the septrino AsterX-m2 GNSS engine (GPS L1, L2, L5 and GLONASS L1, L2, L3, 448 hardware channels) and high performance multiband GNSS antenna.
We also use the iGage iG3s OPUS base station-Static GNSS L1/L2 suitable for National Geodetic Survey (NGS) Online Positioning User Service (OPUS) static Positioning.
We then combine the data from both systems and process the images through ASP suite by GeoCue. This gives us geotagged images with 2cm+/- accuracy.

For aerotriangulation we use Trimble UAS Master which integrates seamlessly with DAT/EM Summit Evolution for stereo collection. Using these stereo collection methods we can leverage our experience to collect vectors accurately and with confidence.
With UAS Master we are also capable of generating point clouds. These point clouds are automatically generated from pixel measurements of the images. We can view and edit these point clouds in stereographic 3d with our photogrammetric collection software for quality control.
